The purpose of this piece will be to explore the roots, similarities, and differences of two different musical genres, Rock, and Classic Jazz. While they may be viewed as contemporary styles, I feel that they have much to offer. This piece will be presented as a series of posts on this blogging website, each discussing one of the various facets of the genres I have chosen.
